Diagnosis delivery cards
Diagnoses delivery cards is a project originally developed by ENGAGe member association ISGO-PPI from Ireland.
Diagnoses delivery cards are designed to help physicians explain diagnoses to patients in a step-by-step manner and to provide initial information to patients. They are recommended for use in ESGO accredited centres.
The booklets are made per disease, with the same pages, perforated. This makes it easy for the doctor to show the patient which parts of the body are affected by the disease and how it can be treated. The doctor can easily tear off the paper and give it to the patient.
The pages show the female pelvis with the organs, and on the left are the types of surgery and possible complications and side effects.
