Vulvar cancer is an abnormal growth of cells that can occur on any part of the vulva. Most of vulvar carcinomas are non-HPV related. Those HPV-related generally affect younger women.
Early detection is crucial to survival, and it is only possible if women share any doubts with the gynaecologists early on. It is therefore important not to use creams or lotions that may cover up the symptoms and delay diagnosis.
