PAS 2026 - EEG Elections

We are pleased to announce the upcoming elections to the ENGAGe Executive Group (EEG), which will be held during the General Assembly of ENGAGe members on February 26, 2026, in Copenhagen, Denmark. 

According to the ENGAGe Bylaws, the ENGAGe Executive Group is composed of 10 members as follows:

  • 4 doctors nominated by the ESGO Council
  • 4 members (current Co-Chair and Co-Chair-Elect/Past Co-Chair) elected by the ENGAGe Assembly
  • 2 patient advocate representatives nominated by the Nomination Committee

Any motivated ENGAGe member (=patient advocacy group) who wishes to be a part of the EEG is welcome to propose a candidate in the elections by submitting a completed nomination form, which should include a recent photo, and a motivation letter (maximum 250 words) by December 15, 2025. The motivation letter should briefly explain why the candidate would like to become an EEG member, highlight their expertise, and describe what they can contribute to ENGAGe.

Please note that, according to the ENGAGe Bylaws, each country can be represented by only one member in the EEG. The names, photos, and motivation letters of all candidates for all positions will be made available on the ENGAGe website after December 15, 2025.
