Purple Flower of Quality of Life
Thousands of women across Europe and worldwide are living with the long-term physical, emotional, and social effects of gynaecological cancers. While survival rates continue to improve, quality of life (QoL) is still too often overlooked in cancer care and policy.
The ENGAGe Purple Flower of QoL Initiative is here to change that.
It is meant to:
- Raise awareness about life after gynaecological cancer
- Support women living with and beyond diagnosis
- Encourage open conversations between patients and healthcare professionals
- Build a shared European identity around survivorship
This initiative highlights a simple truth:
Survival is not enough — quality of life matters.
