ENGAGe Representatives Contribute to ESGO Guidelines on Gynaecological Cancers During Pregnancy

We are proud to share that ENGAGe representatives are actively involved in shaping key scientific initiatives within ESGO and vice versa! This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to improving outcomes and quality of life for women affected by gynaecological cancers.

Anne de Middelaer, ENGAGe Co-Chair Elect (who will begin her leadership in February 2026) and leader of the Belgian patient group Gynca’s, was part of the scientific team contributing to an important new publication. The article, developed jointly by ESGO and INCIP, provides evidence-based guidelines for the management of patients with gynaecological cancers during pregnancy, a highly complex and sensitive area of care.

The guidelines were published in the International Journal of Gynecological Cancer:

Title: ESGO/INCIP Guidelines for the Management of Patients with Gynaecological Cancers During Pregnancy

We congratulate Anne and all contributors to this important work. Their efforts bring the patient voice into clinical guidance and ensure that the needs of women facing cancer during pregnancy are better understood and addressed.
