“No decision about me – without me” is the core of shared decision making.

Shared Decision Making is a process in which clinicians and patients work together to choose test, treatment, management or support packages, based on clinical evidence and the patient’s informed preferences.

If you would like to know more about Shared Decision Making, feel free to attend this free virtual Zoom seminar on Friday, December 11 at 2-4pm.

The seminar entitled: “Improving patient and public involvement in healthcare and social decisions” is being held on the occasion of Professor of Nursing, Dawn Stacey from the University of Ottawa in Canada appointment as adjunct Honorary Professor at the Center for Shared Decision Making in Denmark.

The seminar will also feature exciting presentations by 2 other leading researchers in shared decision making, France Legaré (Canada) and Trudy van der Weijden (The Netherlands).
