Patient Seminar 2011

For the first time during the ESGO17 Congress in Milano, ESGO organised a seminar for European patient groups with an interest in gynaecological cancers. Fifty participants, including 38 representatives of patient organisations, attended this first EGSO patient seminar. After presentations on current inequalities and future innovation in gynaecological cancer, patient organisations shared their achievements and challenges, and discussed how to work with each other and ESGO to improve care and outcomes for women with gynaecological cancer in Europe.

ENGAGe is planning another patient seminar during the ESGO18 Congress in Liverpool.
