The second webinar´s topic is Cervical Cancer Elimination – Is It Possible Or Not? This will be organised by ESGO Prevention Committee whose chair is Prof. Murat Gultekin on June 14th at 18:00 CET on zoom.

What makes this webinar unique is that it brings together two powerful voices – those of most renown doctors and also patients, cervical cancer survivors and founders of local associations. The speakers of this webinar are essentially the ESGO Prevention Committee members, however, ENGAGe patient advocates as well as a special guest from the European Federation of Colposcopy will participate as well. Among the speakers you may expect Maria Kyrgiou (Imperial College of London), Maggie Cruickshank (EFC), Elmar Joura (Medical University of Vienna), Jalid Sehouli (Charita, Berlin), Marc Arbyn (Sciensano) and Murat Gultekin, the ESGO Prevention Committee Chair. We have an honour to welcome also Icó Tóth (ESGO/ENGAGe Co-Chair) and Kim Hulscher (EEG member) as the voice of our patients.

We will have a special guest, Nathalie Brutet of the WHO, who will present the WHO cervical cancer elimination programme and among others address the topic of how to fill the gap in vaccination between the developed and developing countries.   This webinar is destined for lay public – patients and patient advocates (ENGAGe members).
