On Wednesday, 29 January at 12:00 p.m. ET, WHO’s Dr Nono Simelela will be presenting the Draft Global Strategy towards Eliminating Cervical Cancer as a Public Health Problem during a webinar with partners. This presentation is part of the Us vs. HPV Prevention Week webinar series hosted by the Global Initiative Against HPV and Cervical Cancer, which will take place from 27-31 January 2020 (12:00 – 1:00 p.m. ET). This series will discuss updates on the HPV vaccine and community outreach, and will highlight activities surrounding WHO’s call to action to eliminate cervical cancer. A number of speakers from partner organizations will highlight the work they are doing to support the Global Strategy, including successful approaches and challenges.
