Georgia: In the frames of C/Can 2025 project, GPU was involved in the executive committee and technical committee, was created also. Adviser/ consultant of GPU, head of cancer group E. Sanikidze was administered as a head of services assessment direction in this technical committee. Needs assessment of oncology services, primary health care and patient perspective will be done in frames of this direction. She will manage with the study of ethical issues too. These findings will be the main source for UICC to prepare advocacy recommendations during this project. So, responsibility of GPU is very high!
With regards of the Word ovarian day spreading of ENGAGE/GPU printed materials were done – GPU passed these materials to: Georgian Red cross society, women organizations, oncology NGOs, big hospitals, David Tvildiani medical university’s students-group of interest -Gyneacological (GIGA)
Meeting with NGOs, celebration of Word Health Day, first meeting of to elaborate certificate program for Psycho-Oncology were conducted during April- May period.
