Special Network on the impact of the war in Ukraine on Cancer
Following discussions with the WHO, EU Commission and the new ASCO-ECO Ukraine Steering Committee, the ECO Board and ASCO have created a new Special Network on the Impact of the War in Ukraine on Cancer.
The main tasks of the Network are:
- Collaboration and coordination across oncology societies, cancer patient groups and every organisation trying to support
- Providing information in national languages, signposting and amplifying work being done for Ukrainian patients
- Informing on the issue with the WHO, EU and national governments
- Identifying and addressing needs with other organisations
